Here at Dundee’s Cairns Aquarium, we know the Sunday Sesh has become an Australian institution – especially in the Cairns tropics!  That’s why we end the week in an extra special way.

SUNDAY SESH DETAILS

Every Sunday from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, DJ Glenn hits the decks and plays some fantastic tunes to kick back to.  Couple that with our fantastic Sunday seafood and wine deal from 11:30am and you’ve got the recipe for a fantastic Sunday Sesh!

Of course, you can still order from our innovative cocktail and delicious modern Australian cuisine menus too.

The Sunday Seafood and Wine deal for 2 includes Moreton Bay bugs, prawns, chilli calamari, fish, oysters and fresh tropical fruits along with a bottle of Wild Rock Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, NZ – all for just $100!

The aquarium wall is great. Book in advance to get in the first two rows. The Sunday seafood platter was so tasty and good portions.

I came across this place by simply walking past on a lazy Sunday afternoon. They had a Dj who was playing a variety of music that would suit everyone’s taste. I sat down for a seafood platter and bottle of wine which is enough for 2 people.  It cost me $100 and comes with fruit.

I was served by Tina who was very attentive indeed, their covid safe plan was something I had not seen before, being of a very high standard. This is a regular Sunday afternoon which is accommodating to all people. I observed that Dundee’s is also LGBTIQ friendly and seems like they encourage you to dress as you will and enjoy the atmosphere provided.

I highly recommend Dundee’s anytime of the week, but fun and happy on a Sunday.

Went back to Cairns after being away for 7 years!

Was so good to see Dundee’s has expanded to have 2 restaurants.

Loved the Aquarium…

Big shout out to their local DJGlenn .. Went in on a Sunday arvo & to my surprise there was a DJ on for the arvo playing awesome easy listening music.

Most relaxed arvo & will be back.
